Monitoring & Supervision – ABM Security Services

At ABM Security Services, we believe that only systematic supervision, continuous monitoring, and proper record-keeping can ensure the highest standards of safety and protection. Our four-tier system of monitoring, supervision, inspection, and reporting has been designed to suit the strength of each post, the unique requirements of our clients, and the nature of duty assigned.

Every aspect of our monitoring framework is carefully planned and executed by our Headquarters Operations Team, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for maintaining a reliable and transparent supervision process, which allows us to consistently deliver peace of mind to our clients.

Zone-Wise Inspections

Zone Inspectors

For effective operations, Dhaka city and other service areas are divided into specific zones. Each zone is assigned dedicated Shift/Zone Inspectors, who must visit the posts under their responsibility at least once during their shift.

During these visits, inspectors:

Check the performance and alertness of security guards
Interact with the post supervisor (where applicable)
Sign the duty card carried by guards for attendance verification
Record comments and feedback in the Post Register

Unannounced Surprise Checks

Surprise Inspections

To maintain high performance and eliminate complacency, unannounced surprise checks are regularly carried out by our Operations Officers and Duty Officers.

Field Supervisors

Depending on the size of the post and the client’s security needs, we recommend the deployment of Field Supervisors/Guard Commanders. Their primary role is to oversee guards on duty and ensure that each one is carrying out responsibilities with discipline and vigilance.

Field Supervisors are responsible for:

Maintaining the Duty Register and Visitor’s Record Book
Communicating and recording any special client instructions
Ensuring guards remain alert throughout their shifts
Reporting incidents directly to Roving Inspectors or Shift Inspectors from Headquarters

Night Supervision

Security threats increase significantly at night, which is why ABM Security Services places a strong emphasis on night-time monitoring.

Every night, our Headquarters schedules night supervision across all zones, managed by the Operations Director in coordination with the General Manager (Operations). Supervision is executed by:

The Dedicated Night Supervisor assigned to the zone
An Officer Team in vehicle patrol
An Officer Team on motorcycle patrol

This three-tiered approach guarantees that posts are checked multiple times during the night, keeping guards active, alert, and accountable.
